AC Milan has made a significant move in their coaching department with the appointment of Tijjani Reijnders as the new head coach.
Reijnders, who comes from a background in football management, joins AC Milan after spending several years working for Ajax and FC Twente. He is known for his ability to develop young talent and bring out the best in players.
In a statement released by AC Milan, Reijnders said that he was excited about the opportunity to work at one of the world's most successful clubs. "I am delighted to join AC Milan and I look forward to working with the team," he said.
The appointment of Reijnders comes just days after the departure of Vincenzo Montella. Montella had been in charge of the club since August 2018, but his contract expired on December 31st and he decided to leave the club.
With Reijnders now in charge, AC Milan will be hoping for continued success under his leadership. The club has already made some promising signings this season, including the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Leao, so it remains to be seen how Reijnders will use them to help the team achieve its goals.
